Draft Action Plan

Sarasota County will receive $210 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to support long-term recovery efforts from the 2024 Storms Debby, Helene and Milton. Funds can be used for restoration of infrastructure and housing, economic revitalization and mitigation with a focus on assisting low- to moderate-income households.

From March 3 to April 3, community members were invited to review and comment on the Resilient SRQ draft action plan, which proposes the use of funds for recovery efforts following 2024 Storms Debby, Helene and Milton.

The draft action plan is available for review.

Feedback was collected through various methods, including at two in person public hearings, an online form, email and mail.
