Whitaker Bayou Dredging
The Whitaker Bayou Dredging Project is a critical flood mitigation and stormwater conveyance improvement initiative that restores the stormwater conveyance function of one of Sarasota’s oldest urban waterways. This project removes 118,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment to restore stormwater capacity and reduce neighborhood flooding.
