​Infrastructure and Public Facilities and
Dredging of Major Waterways Programs

Funds will supplement Sarasota County’s existing investment in the South River Road Widening project under the Hurricane Ian Program and support completion of the broader River Road Interstate Connector project.

The project encompasses the approximately four-mile South River Road segment from U.S. 41 to Winchester Boulevard, as well as improvements along Winchester Boulevard from South River Road to the Charlotte County line.

Funding will support eligible costs associated with these roadway, drainage, multimodal, and related infrastructure improvements.
