This project adds 60+ acre-feet of floodplain mitigation by excavating the Central Cell in the Celery Fields Regional Stormwater Facility (CFRSF). This will reduce flood levels by up to 1/3 ft. over a one mile radius and remove several residential and commercial neighborhoods from the 100-year, 24-hour floodplain.
